<div>Tony has recently endured a series of discouraging and challenging events. In April he found out his rent was being raised by the new owners of his apartment building. Then his position at work was eliminated and he found himself out of a job. The employers came and took back the computer they had provided for him to work from home. A couple of weeks later, driving home after dark, he hit a car that was stopped in the slow lane, and totaled his own car. The driver of the stalled car had gotten out of the car after turning off the ignition, so the taillights were off. DMV suspended Tony’s license until July 1, and Tony could no longer drive out to El Cajon to the Employment Development Department (EDD) where he had been applying for various new job opportunities. Without a car or computer he is unable to seek out and apply for new employment.

<div>Tony receives Social Security but now needs an additional $1,000.00 every month to cover his bills and be able to save for a down payment on a car. He will be reapplying for his driver’s license renewal July 1 and is studying the DMV test booklet hard to make 100% on the test!

<div>He is physically and mentally fit and wants very much to find employment and meet his obligations. He just needs some monthly financial support to stay in his home and pay his bills until he can get back on his feet. As of right now he needs our assistance until he can become self-sufficient once again. With a little help from his friends he will do just that.
