Can you believe it's been five-and-a-half years since we were last here.

Thanksgiving of 2021, Tony's scans were clear of disease.

This year in May, unfortunately, Tony felt something in his jaw. A biopsy confirmed the same cancer had re-emerged: recurrent metastasized stage 4a high grade mucoepidermal carcinoma from his parotid gland. On June 22nd, 2022, Tony underwent a successful neck resection and spent a month recovering.

Following the resection, Tony immediately jumped straight into radiation/chemo combination therapy--radiation beginning 7/25 and chemo beginning 7/28. We're at the halfway point right now of 30 radiation treatments and 7-weeks of chemotherapy.

While we are appreciative of the health insurance he currently has through his employer, there remains ongoing costs as he navigates his treatment while on leave. Tony received a private, generous donation from his coworkers and is grateful.

We want to continue in that same vein here and raise funds to support Tony and ensure all his friends/family have an opportunity to do so.

Tony remains eternally optimistic, as does his entire medical team. We are hopeful that this fundraising serves not only to help meet financial needs, but also as a testament to how much he is loved.
