Tony Cali's Care

Over a year ago Tony was starting a new phase of his life, retirement, when he was diagnosed with cancer.  He has been working hard to live his life to the fullest, but now he needs more care that includes skilled help at home.  In order to defray some of these costs, we started this fundraising compaign on his behalf.

My name is Fran D'Agostino and I have set up this fund for Tony . I have been friends with Mary and Tony for 40+ years and we are like family . I lived in New York most of my life and moved to Florida three years ago after my husband passed away.  I know, unfortunately from personal experience, how devastating this is on the entire family and especially the caregivers . It takes an emotional toll as well as a huge financial toll . Mary has someone to care for Tony during the day while she is working . The caregiver comes on Sunday night and leaves on Friday when Mary gets home from work . This is paid for out-of-pocket and these funds are helping to defray those costs . To make this as easy as possible for Mary I  withdraw the funds and send a personal check to her . I will continue to do this as long as necessary.
