Tom Tesone's children have set up this fundraising page as well as his CaringBridge site as a way to keep family and friends updated about his diagnosis and progress.
To give a little background... In August of 2018 Tom was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer and told there wasn't much that could be done. Several people donated to help family come in town to visit while Tom was placed on hospice care. Donations continued to help with medical expenses, travel miles to visit family, daily living expenses, and funds to help finish the home renovation they were knee deep in completing. The generosity of family and friends has been astounding!
A few months later, Tom was maintaining life and doing much better than initially expected. Through a series of appointments and prayer, he endured further testing, scans and biopsies which showed a rare, slow growing pancreatic tumor, rather than the typical aggressive type they had first suspected. We were thankful when Dad could exit hospice and begin treatment at Anschutz hospital in Aurora.
As of September 2019, Tom has finished 4 rounds of chemotherapy and will be considering radiation in a few months. In the meantime he spent a week at Eden Valley in Loveland with Rebekah learning about wholistic treatments and healthy living. They both benefited from this program and hope to return for a two week scholarship soon.
Tom and Rebekah continue to have needs as they maneuver the transition from Medicaid to Medicare, learning quickly that some things are covered and others are not. They would welcome your prayers as they navigate medical bills, forms, and learning a new system.

We are so thankful that our Dad is deeply loved by so many. We are thankful to have a strong family and so many lifelong friends. God continues to show Dad how special he is in the lives of many. Thank you for bringing hope in so many stages of this journey. We are deeply blessed.
