Tom's TBI therapy in Nebraska

On August 2, 2007 Tom was in a bicycle accident at Lake Shawnee walking trail sidewalk. The result of this accident were broken bones to the face and injuries to the brain. The first four years numerous surgeries were performed for repairing and reconstructing Tom's face. These last 6 years Tom has been dealing with severe head pain. They have not been able to find proper treatment for his TBI (traumatic brain injury) until last week (August 22nd). Tom spent several days at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska for assessments and evaluations.  Good news for Tom as they have prepared a 6-week therapy plan in Lincoln and Omaha Nebraska to help and cope with the head pain and start leading a more productive life. 

Mom and Dad's 6-week journey starts Monday September 11, 2017 and they could use assistance with travel and lodging expenses.
