Tom’s Camps International Tanzanian Adventure

Hi my name’s Tom. I have been offered an exciting opportunity to go on a 4 Week expedition to Tanzania in July 2026 with my school and Camps International.

There I will be working on vital community projects which could be things like building homes and classrooms and wildlife conservation projects such as digging watering holes for elephants. This is a great opportunity to create a real impact.

I will be working with local people, learning about the challenges they face and work together to create sustainable solutions.

There is also a 4-5 day trek to climb Mount Meru and go on safari!

Over the next year and a half I will be doing numerous fundraising activities and challenges in order to raise the required £5,500 for this trip.
