Tom’s Borneo Expedition

Hi! I’m Tom. I’m heading to Borneo in 2025 with Camps International who work with rural and Indigenous communities around the world, delivering community projects focussed on education, healthcare, wildlife conservation and the environments.

This is a brilliant opportunity to explore and incredible part of the world whilst learning new skills and contributing to socially conscious projects such as digging sewage drains, removing oceans refuse and much more.

The first step - and an important part of the challenge - is for me to raise funds to get to Borneo.

To help me do this - and to make sure my fitness levels are ready to take on the 4-week expedition - I’ve set myself the challenge of cycling the equivalent distance from my house to one of the camps in Borneo - 7036 miles - on an exercise bike! I’m asking people to sponsor me as I take on this challenge and will be uploading my progress here.
