Tom's Accident Fund

On January 10, 2018 Tom St John suffered a serious accident while at work. While installing steel roofing on a pole building Tom lost his footing and began sliding down the roof where he plunged 16 ft. to the ground below.                                                                                                                  Tom was flown from the scene to St Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, OH.  His injuries include the following- pelvis broken in 4 places, left elbow crushed and broken in several places, left wrist broken in 4 places, broken ribs and spinal fractures. Although these injuries are very serious we thank the Lord that his injuries were not worse than they are.                                              Three major surgeries, including the insertion of metal plates and many screws, have been completed to repair the broken bones. Exact recovery time is unknown but will be at least several months to a year.   To complicate the matter Tom has been suffering from leukemia for several years and this is sure to impact the healing process.                                                                                             Tom does have medical insurance but has a large deductable to pay along with co-pays and outstanding medical bills from leukemia treatments. Being self employed, Tom also has no way to provide income for basic living expences.                                                                                    We have started this campaign to help Tom and Susie with the following expences.                                                              Insurance deductable- $8000.00                                                  Outstanding Leukemia Treatments- $3000.00                    Monthly Living Expence- $3000.00                                            Uncoverd Medical Expences- ??                                                          If  you can help share in these expences with any amount it would be greatly appreciated.
