Tomorrow’s Hope Orphanage Winter Shoes and Coats

Approximately 50 children reside in the orphanage that are between a and 18 years of age. They have lost their parents as a result of violence, poverty or health related issues. The immediate need is to prepare for the upcoming winter in Kabul. This specifically means providing shoes and coats for all of them. We have budgeted $150 for shoes for them, to be economically purchased in Kabul. What funds can be raised in addition will go towards furnishing coats for as many as possible. The plan is to place collection boxes in suitable locations to accept small donations. In addition the organizers are planning a free small musical show, where donations will be accepted. Once the funds are collected, they will be sent to a team member in Kabul, who will purchase the needed items, bring them to the orphanage where they will be given directly to the orphans.
