For those of you who know Tommy, you may know him as...

- a brother
- a disciple
- an inspiration
Always cracking a joke whether the time is appropriate or not, you can depend on him to bring a smile to your face.
These past couple of years, I couldn't be more proud of him for prioritizing his health. This has been an aspect of his life that he constantly battles. But, he took the necessary steps to become better such as:
- completely vegan diet
- putting school/work on the back burner and hitting the gym daily
- dropping from 360 lbs. to a well deserved 200lbs
Until recently, he noticed something was not right. While at work, Tommy started to experience nausea and fatigue. He shrugged it off as an one-off incident, but the symptoms persisted and gradually worsened.
It got to the point that he had to quit his jobs because of the many appointments scheduled with his physician.
Until recently, Tommy was diagnosed with Stage 3 gastric cancer. This shocked his doctor given than his condition was an anomaly for someone his age. Usually patients do no develop this type of cancer until their late 60s.
