<div>On June 23rd 2024, I will be walking up Mount Snowdon with a household tumble dryer on my back to raise money for Dewsbury Celtic RLFC.

<div>Dewsbury Celtic's clubhouse is in desperate need of renovation, with estimations for the proposed plans coming in at around £80,000!
</div>

<div>I am hoping to do my part and raise as much money as I can for the rugby club so intrinsically linked to my childhood memories.
</div>

</div>
<div>After surviving a 2 year childhood cancer battle, having a kidney and part of my diaphragm removed as a result, along with multiple other procedures and operations, I was advised by doctors not to play any contact sports! But rugby league is just too good to give up.
</div>

</div>
<div>I have played amateur rugby at Dewsbury Celtic since I was a young boy, until retirement last year at the age of 31 after breaking my knee whilst playing for Dewsbury Celtic.
</div>

</div>
<div>My 3 young boys now all train with the club and it brings them an immense amount of joy and a sense of community, friendship and family, whilst I volunteer as the coach of my eldest's team, the Under 8s.
</div>

</div>
<div>Dewsbury Celtic becomes such a part of everyone's life and offers a place for people, both children and adults alike, to come together and be a part of something.
</div>

</div>
<div>Fingers crossed I can give back to the club that has given me so much throughout my life, and raise as much money as possible by completing Tommy's Snowdon Dryer Challenge!
