Tommy's Cancer Recovery

In September 2016 Tom was diagnosed with testicular cancer which required immediate treatment. Tom had to undergo intensive chemotheraphy for 3 months due to the tumour being so large and aggressive.



Immediately after completing chemo, Tom had to undergo major surgery to remove the tumour in his abdomen, still the size of a tissue box. Due to complications with this surgery Tom had to have an emergency bowel operation.

As a result of the chemotherapy and high risk surgeries, Tom is still suffering with chronic nerve pain, fatigue, and other health related issues which are ongoing and make it very hard to transition back into work.

Even with the great support that Tom has received from family and friends, the medical costs and 10 months off work has left him with substantial debts. These debts have become a massive stress that is now impacting on his ability to fully recover.



Any contribution will be very much appreciated by Tom and will help with his future medical bills, ongoing physiotherapy, current debts, and urgent back to work costs. These include renewal of builders contractor license, workers compensation, tax, and ute registration.

Throughout this process Tom has managed to keep his positive attitude and is now slowly getting back to full health. He would like to thank everyone for their support so far, and any donations - no matter how small - would be a massive help.
