Our dear friend Tommy Harman is at Emory University in Atlanta, undergoing a heart valve transplant. (His second in 17 years) Thanks be to God, he has survived the transplant but now the recovery begins. Of course his beloved Beth is at his side, as she has been for over 57 years of marriage, ...since they were kids!
Tommy's recovery will be another couple of weeks, and the bills for the nearby hotel Beth needs will be adding up soon. Eventhough there is a discount for patient families, it amounts to around $150 per night.
We all want to do something to help, so here is a way to show our love and support for this deserving family so dear to each of us.
In lieu of sending flowers (which Tommy cannot have anyway) please donate to the fund to cover things such as the hotel, Beth's food, hospital parking fees, etc.
