Tom Higgins Lost It All In a Fire

Tom Higgins moved to tiny Aberdeen, South Dakota, to be close to his kids. He put all his stuff in the car, did a hell of a long drive, slept on his ex's sofa for a bit, found a place to live, and got a job in a place where he had almost no connections.  His first paycheck was due yesterday.

And then his house burned down. With all of his belongings. All.

He made it out with nothing but a go bag, and then he watched the flames rise and take away all he had brought and all he had built.

Tom is tough and self-reliant. He’s a great dad, he's super smart, and has a totally warm heart. He put together a living in a tough situation. And this morning he's got nothing.

Let's get him and his family back on their feet. He needs:

- Clothes ($1000)

- First, last and security for a new apartment ($1500)

- The basics of a home, like a bed, some dishes, and a table ($1000)

- Friends who have his back
