Thomas (Tomcat) was diagnosed with Stage 2 Metastatic Papillary Thyroid Cancer on Monday, October 8th, 2018.
It has been confirmed that the cancer has metastasized throughout his lungs but NOT to his brain or bones. On Friday, October 19th Tomcat underwent a 9 hour neck surgery to totally remove his thyroid and 56 lymphnodes. Soon he will begin radioactive iodine therapy at UCSF to try and kill the cancer in his lungs.
This life event has come as a huge shock for Tomcat and his partner, Joselin. They are surrounded by love and support from friends and family near and far but there will be inevitable bills to pay. Since Tom cannot work until he is fully recovered we are making this Go Fund Me account to help delay any financial strains.

This will be a long road to recovery for Tom and with medical bills, life expenses, and taking time off work to recover we are asking for people to donate anything they can to help support these two beautiful people.
We all know that Tom and Joselin are the kind of friends that are not only hard to come by, but they are two in a billion. They are generous, humble, selfless, non-judgemental and always there for the ones they love.
