Dear friends, family and gymnastics enthusiasts,
Thanks to your generosity last year, Tomás was able to achieve his dream of representing Team USA at the 2017 with Age Group Competition in Sofia, Bulgaria. It was a life-changing experience, and he was proud of his accomplishments. Tomás was one of the youngest athletes to compete for Double Mini Trampoline in the 13-14 year old age group, which was even more impressive!
This year, due to his dedication, passion, and perseverance, we are proud to announce that Tomás has been selected to represent Team USA at the 2018 World Age Group Competition for Double Mini, Individual Trampoline and Synchronized Trampoline , and also to be part of the USA Jr National Team. This selection is quite an honor, as they only chose 5 Youth Elite Athletes to be part of the Jr National Team (two boys and three girls, him being the youngest boy on the team)
We are incredibly proud that Tomás earned the opportunity to represent Team USA again on the international stage, competing against the best athletes from around the world in not one but three different events. For Tomás, whose enthusiasm for the trampoline has guided him through hundreds of hours of training, practice sessions, and competitions, this is the ultimate reward for his hard work and the opportunity for an unforgettable athletic experience.
To prove himself on the world stage, Tomás needs your help. The competition is being held in St. Petersburg, Russia on November 15th to 18th, 2018. All expenses are expected to be entirely self-funded, including his United States National Team uniform, travel, extra-training and coaching fees. We ask for your assistance in raising the funds needed for his trip. Without the help of his family and friends, Tomás simply can’t attend the competition.
Tomás is very excited to have the opportunity to represent the USA! We promise to share video updates of his experience from now through the competition. You can follow him on Instagram @tomasminc. We would appreciate if you could help support Tomás by sharing his “GoFundMe” on your social media page and spreading the word.
Please send your well wishes our way as we embark on this journey to Russia. We, and Tomás, want to thank everyone for all their support and encouragement
Thank you all for the support and help for Tomás!
