<div>On July 8, our family suffered a devastating fire that destroyed the boats, commercial fishing equipment, traps, and other essential assets my parents rely on for their livelihood. While we're incredibly grateful that their home was spared, the loss of the equipment has brought their commercial fishing operation to a standstill. We're raising funds to help them begin replacing what was lost and start the long process of rebuilding.

<div> If you know my parents, Tom and Melissa Willits, then you know they are the first people to show up when someone else is in need. For years, they've poured their hearts into this community through their commercial fishing business and Kathi's Krab Shack. They've quietly helped neighbors, supported local families, donated to fundraisers, fed first responders, sponsored community events, and never hesitated to lend a hand when someone needed it. They've never done those things for recognition—they've simply always believed that's what neighbors do.

<div> Every donation, no matter the amount, will go directly toward replacing the equipment and resources needed to help my parents begin rebuilding their commercial fishing business and moving forward. The funds will help cover the costs of new boats, traps, and essential gear, allowing them to start working again and regain their independence. Your support will make a real difference in helping them recover from this unexpected tragedy.

<div> If you feel led to help, whether through a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or simply praying for my parents, our family would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help them take another step toward rebuilding what took a lifetime to create. Thank you for standing beside our family during one of the hardest seasons we've ever faced. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
