During the first week of June, my dad went for his annual MRI scan only to find out that the doctors had found another brain tumor. We will not know the full extent of the tumor until his surgery, which will be happening on Friday, August 18th at John Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital. At that time, the surgeon will biopsy the tumor to determine if a chemotherapy wafer will have to be inserted where the tumor was. Fortunately, they will be able to use the existing holes from the previous surgery*.
If you are from the Shillington, PA area and know my dad, I’m sure you have stopped by the garage and he’s checked a tire or lent a helping hand in some way. He has always put his family and friends first, and now it’s our time for us to do the same for him.
Many people have reached out on how they could help, and this is currently the best way. In addition to medical expenses, he will need recovery time, which is not easy due to the nature of his business. Anything you can do to help support him is greatly appreciated.

*For those who do not know, my father was first diagnosed with Stage III Brain Cancer in September of 2011. The doctors were able to successfully remove the tumor. Post-surgery, my dad battled through six months of chemotherapy and 30+ radiation treatments simultaneously. The love and support during this time was unmatched and greatly appreciated!
