Many of you have asked for concrete ways in which you can help support mom and dad during this difficult time. One large area of concern is financial stability throughout the course of treatment. At this point in time, dad will be unable to return to work and although he is technically retired, he is unable to claim his pension until July 2018. That leaves the two of them without an income for the next 6 months.   The amount goal equates to the missing total income for this time.  

If you feel lead to contribute financially, our primary goal is to meet some of the basic day-to-day needs they will have, as well has possibly help provide some additional out of pocket care for mom's Fibromyalgia, since up until this point, dad has been the one providing that care for her on a daily basis.
