Tom & His Family Need Your Help!

Tom is a 48 yr old husband to Tracy and father of 2. He just started going to school for HVAC so he could better support his family. He was blessed with a job in the HVAC industry about 6 months ago. About 2 months ago, he started having chest pains. After an episode of bad chest pains, his boss insisted on driving him to the hospital. That's when he found out he had an aneurysm on the aortic valve of his heart. Things progressed quickly from there. The episodes and pain increased. He was rushed back to the hospital where they told him that his aneurysm now had a hematoma that was bleeding. Surgery was set up quickly.

Tom is scheduled for open heart surgery on October 18th to have the aneurysm removed and some valves replaced in his heart. He tried to supplement income by driving for Uber for a while but the dizzy spells prevented him from continuing. He is currently unable to work. 

After surgery,  he will continue to be unable to work (or drive) for at least 3 months. Tom is not the type of person to ask for help, he's used to getting by on his own, which is why we are petitioning help on his behalf.  Any support you can give will be so very appreciated by Tom and his family.

Next month, his 6 year old son is scheduled for a second kidney surgery to clear a blockage that prevents it from draining properly, in attempt to avoid kidney replacement down the road. His family truly is enduring a difficult season!
