Tokyo Olympics 2021

Hello, my name is Christina MacDonald, I'm a recent college graduate from Concordia University in Portland, OR where I spent 5 years competing in javelin, shotput and specialized in the hammer throw. Since Graduating college I have moved to Boston Massachusetts and trained there my first year as a post-collegiate. I lost my coach and one of my best friends Jared Romegraduating college I have moved to Boston Massachusetts and trained there my first year as a post-collegiate. I lost my coach and one of my best friends Jarred Rome this same here. 

I am now training in Manhattan Kansas alongside some of the best athletes and coaches in the country and I couldn’t be more thankful for this opportunity we’re glad to be here. I’m working as hard as I possibly can every day to achieve the school and want to make my former coach, Jared Rome

I’m working as hard as I       possibly can every day to achieve my goals of becoming an Olympian, and now more    than ever do I want to make my former         coach, mentor and best friend proud ❤️

Achieving this goal of becoming the first Olympian from my hometown won’t be cheap. Unfortunately there are not many opportunities to make money in track and field, and with how much I have to train, anywhere from 20-30 hours a week, that leaves me with very little time to work and make money to support myself. The biggest cost that come with competing in this sport are travel costs to meets, entrance fees to those meets, equipment, gear and recovery tools such as going to see a massage therapist and chiropractors to make sure I’m staying healthy doing the sport I love. I am reaching out to you in hope of support in an fashion. Whether it be from donation or sponsorship, anything is appreciated.


With this all being said, my #1 goal is to inspire people of all ages to pursue their dreams, and with your support, I’ll be able to show them that anything is possible.
