Kids Share Workshops will teach with La Touche in Lome Togo, West Africa, April 5-7, 2022! We are raising funds to lead youth suffering while living in poverty. Some are ex-detainees learning how to become independent and responsible young adults. The money raised through this page will support workshop supplies, meals, and volunteer expenses. About La Touche
A small non-profit organization located in Togo, working with youth in detention centers and in local disadvantaged communities. Our focus is on youth empowerment.
Our mission is to give educational activities in less privileged communities around Togo. We recently opened a community library where youth can take out books for reading. We are working on a project that will benefit teenagers, young adults, and ex-detainees. This project is CIL-TOUCHE, Centre d'Impact et de Leadership-La Touche. Our focus is listening hours, debates, music, art, chess clubs, coaching, library, and much more. *We are a tax-exempt organization!
La Touche with Kids Share
We at La Touche are excited about the program, Kids Share Workshops and its focus on the arts and writing as a means for healing. Sylvie Enyonam Mensah, the founder, also wanted others to know that she is praying to God that Kids Share Workshops can reach the following young people, ex youth inmates, orphans, and students, by sharing the workshop directing towards their needs for healing.
La Touche believes that reaching children and young adults through the creative arts will help them heal, regain self-esteem, and help discover their skills they did not know they had. But mostly enjoy the workshop and be happy!
Your Gift
We hope to raise money to have a week-long Kids Share Workshop with La Touche. If enough funds are raised, the workshop will include therapeutic paper art painting, writing piece, community mural, and exploration (sharing of one's community). We will document our journey to share the story worldwide. Our goal would be to reach 50 children and many community members.
The Funding
The funding will be used to buy art supplies, design and publish a book for each child, lunch provided during the workshop, and volunteer expenses. **Kids Share Workshops is a volunteer organization working under other nonprofit organizations.

Every portrait created has a story. The paper art used in the artwork is made by children who live worldwide and participated in Kids Share Workshops from 2008-Present. Options are personal portraits, signature portraits, animal portraits, and Famous Faces Portraits.
