El pasado 2 de Agosto del 2018 nuestro padre Luis A Lara Miranda; sufrió un ataque al corazón y fue trasladado en ambulancia al hospital Presbyterian en Dallas, TX. Al llegar fue operado de emergencia, donde le pusieron unos ‘stents’ para destapar la única arteria que estaba trabajando. Los cardiólogos cirujanos determinaron que necesitaba una operación de corazón abierto, para realizarle un bypass cuádruple. Su corazón no sufrió ningún daño durante el ataque y esto facilitó que la cirugía fuera imediatamente. El sábado 4 de Agosto fue operado sin ningún contratiempo y su recuperación hasta ahora ha sido satisfactoria. Queremos agradecerle primero a Dios por el éxito de la operación, ya que nos ha dado un corazón sano para nuestro papito. Igualmente agradecerle a toda la familia y conocidos por su increíble apoyo, y oraciones hacia el. Nuestra meta es ayudar a nuestro padre con su recuperación. Todos queremos verlo sonriente, trabajando, ayudando y luchando como siempre lo ha hecho por toda la comunidad latina de Dallas/Fortworth. Muchos de ustedes se han comunicado con nosotros para preguntar cómo pueden ayudar. Queremos que sepan que estamos muy agradecidos por el cariño, y preocupación que nos han demostrado hacia nuestro padre. Necesitamos su ayuda para aliviar de alguna manera el peso de las cuentas del hospital, medicinas, terapias y gastos del diario vivir ya que los próximos meses el tendrá que dedicarse a su recuperación y no podrá trabajar de la forma que ya todos ustedes conocen. On August 2nd, 2018; our father Luis A Lara Miranda, had a heart attack and was taken by ambulance to Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, TX. As soon as he got to the hospital , he had to undergo an emergency surgery. Doctors inserted some stents to open the only coronary artery that was working, the other two arteries were totally blocked. The cardiologist determined that he needed a quadruple heart bypass surgery. Fortunately, his heart suffered no damage, which helped the immediate surgery. The surgery was successful and completed on August 4th without any major difficulties and he is recovering very well. We would like to thank Our Lord, in the first place, for sending the most experience doctors, Dr Tulio Diaz and Dr Mark Pool, to our path. We also would like to thank people in the community for their amazing support and prayers. Our desire right now is to help our father to recover following the doctor’s advice so he can continue working, helping, and fighting for the Hispanic community in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Many of you have called and offered your help. We want you all to know that we are very grateful for the kindness and love you have shown. We need your help to be able to pay for the bills from the hospital, medicines, therapies and everyday expenses. He would not be able to work for quite a few months because his focus is to fully recover. Every contribution helps, and will be used wisely. We count on you!
