I’m reaching out during one of the most challenging times of my life. I’ve dedicated myself to advocating for social change and helping others navigate systems that so often fail us, but right now, I find myself in a position where I need help.

I’m a parent to an incredible son who is navigating disability, gender non-conformity, and homelessness. While I receive disability compensation, it is not enough to cover our basic living expenses, including my son’s hotel stay, which has been his only stable shelter. Despite doing everything I can to manage our finances, the rising cost of living and systemic barriers have left us struggling to make ends meet.

This is not easy for me to share. Like so many, I’ve been told I should be able to manage on my own, but the truth is, the system is broken. It’s designed to keep people like us stuck in survival mode, too burdened to rise and demand the changes we so desperately need.

Your support will help us get through this immediate crisis and allow me to focus on my mission of creating a better world—one where no one has to struggle like this.
