Together for Myanmar: Earthquake Relief Fund
My name is Aye Mon. But everyone calls me Mon. I was born in Myanmar and raised in Australia. While I now live and work here as a Director and Behaviour Support Practitioner, my connection to Myanmar runs deep. It is the place where my journey began and continues to shape the values I carry and the way I choose to give back.
On March 28, 2025, a powerful earthquake struck Myanmar, causing widespread devastation across many regions. Countless homes were damaged or destroyed, and access to essentials like clean water, food, and healthcare was severely disrupted. Many communities particularly those in remote and rural areas are still facing immense challenges as they begin the long journey towards recovery.
This campaign is about helping Myanmar not only survive the aftermath but also begin to rebuild. In 6 to 8 months, I will be there in person to deliver what we’ve raised and to stand beside the communities we aim to support.
Your kind and generous donations will go directly towards:
- Nutritious food and clean drinking water
- Durable shelter materials
- Basic medical supplies and hygiene kits
- Water filters and sanitation resources
- Educational materials for children returning to school
- Support for local volunteers helping with relief and rebuilding
- Tools and supplies to help families begin restoring their homes and livelihoods
To ensure transparency and impact, I will be working closely with trusted local contacts on the ground. I will personally oversee the distribution of aid and provide regular updates, photos, and stories so you can see how your generosity is bringing real change to people in need.
Every contribution, no matter how small, is a step toward healing and hope.
Together we support, together we deliver.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for standing with Myanmar.
Yours sincerely,
Aye Mon
