Together for Burnsville's Hope and Recovery
Donation protected
My name is Armando, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my family and the community of Burnsville, which was recently devastated by a powerful hurricane. Homes, businesses, and livelihoods have been destroyed, leaving many without basic necessities. My parents, like so many others, lost their jobs, and countless families are now without shelter or a way to earn a living.
The hurricane has left the town and surrounding communities in ruins. The local fire department estimates it could take anywhere from a week to four weeks just to restore electricity and phone signals. Until then, many of us are living without power or access to clean water.
We are raising funds to support those in our community who have lost so much. The money will be used to help:
Families who have lost their homes
Local businesses trying to rebuild
Community members who are struggling with basic needs like food, water, and temporary shelter
Your donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact in helping Burnsville and its surrounding communities recover. We will distribute the funds to those in the greatest need, ensuring that the support reaches as many people as possible.
In these difficult times, we are grateful for any help you can offer. Please consider donating, and if you’re unable to contribute, sharing this campaign would mean the world to us.
Thank you for your support and kindness.

To ensure full transparency, here's a breakdown of how we plan to use the funds to support Burnsville's recovery:
1) Immediate Relief for Families – 40% of Funds
Housing Assistance: Provide temporary shelter for displaced families. In this case the town will get the funds since shelters are being set up at the moment.
Basic Necessities: Purchase food, water, hygiene products, and clothing for those without access to essential supplies.
2) Community Restoration – 30% of Funds
Rebuilding Homes: Help cover repair costs for homes that were partially or fully destroyed.
Local Business Support: Provide grants to small businesses affected by the hurricane to help them reopen and support the local economy.
3) Utilities and Infrastructure Recovery – 20% of Funds
Water and Power Restoration: Contribute towards fixing water and power infrastructure, ensuring that families and businesses can return to normal life as soon as possible.
4) Emergency and Medical Services – 10% of Funds
Medical Aid: Assist with medical bills for those injured during the hurricane or for those requiring emergency care.
Emergency Supplies: Provide ongoing emergency supplies (generators, fuel, etc.) for use until electricity and phone services are restored.
