<div>This fundraiser is inspired by my friend Jessica Guthrie.

<div>More than a decade ago, Jessica’s mom was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Since then, Jessica has been her mom’s primary caregiver — loving her fiercely through every stage of this disease. Alzheimer’s has taken so much from her mom, and from Jessica. And yet, somehow, what remains is still beautiful: the way they show love, find moments of joy, and keep making memories together, even when memory itself feels fragile.

<div>As beautiful as their love is, this disease is not fair.

<div>No family should have to navigate this alone. No caregiver should carry this weight without support. And no one should stop fighting for better treatments, better care, and — one day — a cure.
