Together Against Loneliness
Give the gift of connection this Winter with Irish Community Services.
As a small charity rooted in South London, we see every day how loneliness touches people of all ages. While many older Irish people, especially those over 65, living alone, or far from family are at higher risk, loneliness can affect anyone. That’s why our range of services are designed to support the whole community, from welfare advice and social groups to befriending and wellbeing check-ins.
For decades, Irish people helped build the communities and neighbourhoods we call home. Yet too many are now facing life with fewer connections, shrinking support networks, and rising isolation. We’re here to change that, but we can only do it with your help.
Loneliness isn’t just about being alone; it’s about feeling unseen, unheard, and disconnected from the people and places that make life meaningful. This Winter, your support can make sure no one in our community feels that way.
With your support, we can:
• Keep people of all ages connected to vital services, support, and social connection.
• Keep our welfare advice services free for anyone who needs guidance.
• Run free or low-cost community groups so everyone can participate and belong.
• Support our volunteer befrienders, who regularly check in on isolated members.
• Enable our staff to provide personalised wellbeing check-ins across South London.
Every donation, big or small, helps keep our community connected. Your gift ensures that the Irish and wider community across South London continue to feel seen, valued, and supported.
