Hola! soy Jesús Daniel Torrealba Navas (JD), tengo 3 añitos y siempre fui un niño sano... hasta ahora. A mediados de octubre del 2017 comencé a sentir un dolor en el abdomen, por lo que mis papis, Karina y Daniel me llevaron al médico y luego de muchos exámenes, el día 02/11/2017 me diagnosticaron un tumor en el riñon izquierdo.

Around october 2017 I began to feel a little bit of pain in my belly, so my parents Karina and Daniel take me to the doctor and after a lot of examination, on november 2nd, 2017 I was diagnosed with a tumor in my left kidney.
El día 09/12/2017 me hicieron una cirugía en la que lograron extraer un tumor, junto con mi riñón izquierdo por lo comprometido que estaba ¡Gracias a Dios nací con dos! Pero a la semanas comencé a sentir fuertes dolores en las piernas, hasta que el día 17/12/2017 ya no pude caminar.

On 09/12/2017 I underwent surgery in which they managed to remove a tumor, along with my left kidney because of how committed I was. Thank God I was born with two! But after a few weeks I began to feel strong pains in my legs, until the day 17/12/2017 I could not walk anymore.
Mis doctores me hicieron una resonancia magnética el día 21/12/2017 en la que observaron una lesión presionando la columna vertebral y que fracturo varias vertebras. El 23/12/2017 en una segunda cirugía, nos dicen que el diagnóstico es un SARCOMA RENAL DE CELULAS CLARAS, un tumor poco frecuente en niños y muy agresivo.
My doctors did an MRI on 21/12/2017 in which they observed an injury pressing on the spine and fracturing several vertebrae. On 12/23/2017 in a second surgery, we are told that the diagnosis is a RENAL SARCOMA OF CLEAR CELLS, a rare tumor in children and very aggressive.
Aunque nos decían que probablemente no volvería a caminar, y que el tratamiento tenía pocas posibilidades de ser exitoso, yo sorprendí a todos. Con fe y fortaleza comenzamos la quimio y radioterapia, mediante el apoyo en oración y donaciones de muchas personas. Gracias a Dios y a todos ellos, volví a dar pasos nuevamente el día 14/02/2018.
Although they told us that I probably would not walk again, and that the treatment had little chance of being successful, I surprised everyone. With faith and strength, we began chemo and radiotherapy, through the support of many people in prayer and donations. Thank God and all of them, I took steps again on 02/14/2018.
Hoy 16/05/2018 me encuentro en la mitad de mis ciclos de quimioterapia (son 12). Durante ellos he sido muy valiente, fuerte y he logrado progresar poco a poco, pero luego de cada quimioterapia, durante un tiempo que mis médicos llaman Nadir, disminuyen mis leucocitos (glóbulos blancos) y hematíes (glóbulos rojos), así como las plaquetas.
Mientras avanzo en el tratamiento, a mi médula ósea le cuesta cada vez más recuperarse y he estado hasta 15 días en “nadir”. Para ayudar a recuperarme de este proceso y estabilizar mis defensas, me han hecho trasfusiones de sangre, de hasta 9 concentrados plaquetarios y globulares

Today 05/16/2018 I am in the middle of my chemotherapy cycles (there are 12). During them I have been very brave, strong and I have progressed little by little, but after each chemotherapy, during a time that my doctors call Nadir, my leukocytes (white blood cells) and red cells (red blood cells) decrease, as do the platelets.
While I am progressing in the treatment, my bone marrow is getting harder and harder to recover and I have been up to 15 days in "nadir". To help me recover from this process and stabilize my defenses, blood transfusions have been made, up to 9 platelet and globular concentrates.
Todo esto se nos generado gastos que no esperábamos, los concentrados plaquetarios y globulares son comprados en bancos de sangre y a eso debemos sumarle la estadía en la clínica para poder realizar el procedimiento.
La quimioterapia, radioterapia, transfusiones de sangre y exámenes de rutina que debo cumplir son muy costosos y en mi país (Venezuela) es muy difícil conseguirlos, por eso pido tu ayuda, ya que es la única forma de poder recuperarme y volver a ser el niño alegre y juguetón que siempre fui. Espero puedas colaborar conmigo y Dios te retribuya cada granito de arena que aportes con muchas bendiciones.

Hola amiguitos! Hoy 18/08/2018 quiero contarles que estoy luchando por superar un nuevo reto. Como les había comentado en este ciclo 9, mis valores han bajado muchísimo. Tengo algunos días en la clínica porque mis doctores decidieron que era necesario para sentirme mejor, ya que estoy en el ciclo 9 de quimioterapia y mis valores han bajado muchísimo En mi pecho hay un aparato que todos llaman catéter. Me ayuda porque mis amigas enfermeras colocan medicamentos muy importantes por allí, como la quimioterapia, así no me inyectan tanto… Ayer algo parecía estar fallando con mi catéter, por lo que me hicieron una radiografía y se dieron cuenta que parte del aparato se fracturo y fue a dar a mi corazón. Mis médicos dicen que está en la aurícula derecha y aunque debemos sacarlo rápido porque es muy peligroso que este allí, deben esperar que mis plaquetas suban (hoy están en 25mil). En este momento estoy en UCI, me están preparando para una cirugía que se llama cateterismo, en la que me van a quitar ese tubito invasor de mi corazoncito. Yo estoy luchando para ganar esta batalla. Quería pedirte que sigas incluyéndome en tus oraciones, Papa Dios nos mantiene fuertes, con mucha fe y esperanza de que prontito estaré totalmente sano. También puedes ayudarme donando, compartiendo o mencionando, todas estas complicaciones siguen aumento los gastos y para mí sanación, cada granito de arena que aportes cuenta. Muchas Gracias

I have some days in the clinic because my doctors decided it was necessary to feel better, since I am in the 9th cycle of chemotherapy and my values have gone down a lot. In my chest there is a device that everyone calls a catheter. It helps me because my nurse friends put very important drugs over there, like chemotherapy, so they do not inject me so much ... Yesterday something seemed to be failing with my catheter, so they did an X-ray and they realized that part of the device was fractured and He went to give my heart. My doctors say that it is in the right atrium and although we must take it out quickly because it is very dangerous that it is there, they should wait for my platelets to rise (today they are in 25mil). At this moment I am in ICU, they are preparing me for a surgery called catheterization, in which they will remove that invasive tube from my little heart. I am fighting to win this battle. I wanted to ask you to continue to include me in your prayers, Pope God keeps us strong, with a lot of faith and hope that soon I will be totally healthy. They must be bought outside the country and brought to Venezuela, because here they can not be found must be bought elsewhere.
