Todd's Stay At Cancer Care Alliance

Todd Vaughn, is the husband of Marcia, who works on staff in the Carlyon Beach office. Todd was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Large B Cell Lymphoma 7 months ago. They studied their options and chose to aggressively treat the disease with chemotherapy; still, the cancer didn't completely leave his body. Now they are pursuing stem cell transplant, which has had good results for many Stage 3 Lymphoma cancer patients. Unfortunately, this treatment option is very expensive and many of the costs associated with receiving the treatment are not covered by insurance. It means Todd will be in Seattle for the treatments for 2 or 3 months, and Marcia must be there with him for 24/7 care-giving. At this time they are just focused on the goal of getting through this treatment.
