Todd Kreidler Medical Expenses

Todd Kreidler is a local electrician and HVAC technician in Lock Haven and the surrounding areas. After many years working for a local contractor, in 2015 he made the leap to go out on his own and start Light 'M Up Electric. In his third year of business, he was building a successful client base and working long hours to keep up. In the spring of 2017, Todd started experiencing debilitating symptoms and spent days in and out of the hospital. After weeks of tests and doctor visits, he was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. This rare condition develops when damage occurs to your bone marrow, slowing or shutting down the production of red blood cells. In addition to the many symptoms he's experienced, he recently became partially blind due to bleeding behind the eyes. Although he's been in and out of the hospital with blood transfusions and doctor visits, he's managed to continue working as much as possible until he lost his sight. For the last several weeks he's been dependent on others to help him finish work on the schedule and has been forced to turn away new business. He finally received some good news when his twin brother was tested and found to be an exact match for a bone marrow transplant. Todd is scheduled to be admitted to the hospital on September 13th for a 3-4 month stay. During this time he'll be unable to leave the hospital or work. As a self employed business owner he'll have no income to rely on while undergoing treatment. In addition to their normal household expenses, Todd and his wife are facing an insurmountable stack of medical bills.
