Diana L. Barr here, finalist for Today's Woman PlusSize Beauty Pageant 2022! I'm so excited to be allowed to compete in this ground-breaking contest. Plus-sized people generally get sidelined as unattractive and unworthy purely based on size. This contest isn't just about being pretty; it's about reclaiming personal value and self-worth from the culture of thinness. Beauty doesn't determine value. Health doesn't create worth. This contest is a platform to give confidence to everyone, myself included.

I'm asking for donations to help cover the costs of the contest: entry fee, travel fees, transportation, food, hotel, and other necessities. Any amount, however small, will be appreciated.
