Make Tochi great again!

Tochi is more than our dog, he is part of our family.
His endless tail wagging, playful curiosity, and a constant hunger for our food always brighten our day. He is always super happy and excited to meet other furry friends and even other humans. Strangers that walk pass him on the streets always ask to pet him and he always greets them with a smile and a lot of excitement. That’s just Tochi.

Unfortunately, this past Saturday he got into a serious accident and was hit by a truck. We immediately took him to the clinic to get treated but unfortunately, that clinic was only able to provide us with X-rays and he required surgery to repair his dislocated hip as they did not have a surgeon there.

We immediately took him to the animal hospital across the city to get him looked at again and they told us we will have to leave him overnight and they will perform the operation in the morning. We agreed and walked out in tears, but we were happy he would be okay.

The hospital attempted closed reduction on Tochi the next day and kept him again to keep an eye on him.

Today, we were excited to pick him up but we got a call saying that his hip was dislocated again and another set of X-rays was taken, and the problem is a lot worse than originally diagnosed - it is both hips and not just the one we thought.. Our best option now is double pelvic osteotomy.

Of course, we are going to do everything we can for him, but as he is not insured, this surgery is going to cost us all of our immediate savings and more.

We’ve already spent nearly 350euros on the original X-rays.
We’re pending an 800euro bill for the closed reduction.
This surgery that Tochi needs will cost up 2500euros.

He needs this surgery ASAP and any amount will go a long way.
