Toby's Cycling for Nicaragua

Please help me (Toby) raise money towards my expedition to Nicaragua in July 2018 with school and Outlook Expeditions. It will be such a fantastic, life changing experience where I hope to give something back, make a difference to the people of Nicaragua and build on my own teamwork, confidence and leadership skills.

I need to raise £3,145 in total to fund my expedition.
I would love to raise £1000 towards this target with my planned coast to coast cycle ride across England in August 2017. I shall be cycling 172 miles from Morecambe to Bridlington following the Way of The Roses cycle route. My father is accompanying me for moral support.

My expedition team is volunteering to improve conditions in a local school by contributing to a community project arranged by La Esperanza in Granada. I hope to be involved in construction work as funding is very low in Nicaragua to improve the environment for the children and help those who really are in need.

I can't wait to meet the children and share with them some of my own life experiences, have a few footy matches and maybe even teach them some English language. In turn I hope to learn more about a different culture and embrace the Nicaraguan lifestyle.

We will be taking responsibility for organising our own
transport, accommodation, itinerery and budget throughout the trip, which is quite daunting being only 17 years old when we go.

I would really appreciate any donation towards my target, no matter how big or small. I am out training every weekend and several nights per week after school in preparation for the fundraising event this August.
