Tobi Russeck Sperbeck's Irma Fund

My name is Melissa Donimirski. I live in Wilmington, DE. My friend, Tobi Russeck Sperbeck and her husband, Ray Sperbeck, were in the middle of getting ready to welcome their first child - Harry - into the world when Hurricane Irma hit their beautiful home on St. Thomas.  I am raising money to help the Sperbecks get back on their feet.  They are going to need everything -- their home was completely destroyed and subsequently looted.

Tobi has been through a lot.  She spent five hours hunkered down in a closet to survive the storm.  Subsequently, Tobi, who is 8 months pregnant, had to be separated from her husband to be medevaced by FEMA to Puerto Rico. 

If you know Tobi, you know that her smile lights up a room, that she has an incredibly magnetic personality that draws people to her, and that she would do anything for her family and friends.  Now it's time for us to help her out. 

All money raised will go directly to Tobi and Ray and will be used to help them rebuild their lives, including replacing all their personal possessions, which were lost, destroyed or stolen.  Any excess beyond what they need will be used to help rebuild their community on St. Thomas (Red Hook/Nazareth). Tobi will be drawing the money directly from this campaign; I will not have access to the funds.
