"The Toasty Toes Sock Drive 2021"

Happy New year!

My name is Latitia and I am a contestant in the 2021 Brampton Flower City Pageant. Community service is very close to my heart and I need your help! As this Canadian winter is in full swing, staying warm is imperative. However, there are many people in our community that are in need of one essential item.

*A pair of socks*

New socks minimize the possibility of frostbite, and reduce the risk of cellulitis, impetigo, fungal infection, trench foot and skin breakdown. ​​Socks are also the most needed but least donated item of clothing to homeless shelters.

Your donation can help change that!

As Covid 19 is still among us, it is understandable that some might not feel comfortable going out to buy socks and dropping them off. So, I am requesting that you donate monetarily and with 100% of the funds raised, the socks for “The Toasty Toes Sock Drive” will be purchased. All donations will be donated to Grace Place (www.graceplace.ca ) here in Brampton, Ontario.
