To stop Uyghurs genocide

Hi! My name is Gulbokhar and I want to share my story.

In the past 3 years, news headlines mentioning Uyghurs have appeared more and more often. This is because the government of a huge and influential country has and currently is cruelly violating the rights of this people with impunity. For me, the tragedy of my people is my tragedy too. The fact is that my late father was the Head of the Uyghur society in Kyrgyzstan, and our family has always worked for the good of its people. These events, this pain and helplessness, have prompted me to study Human Rights. Currently I am doing my Master degree in Human Rights in Padova University. I wanted to know how to fight and which instruments to use in order to stop Genocide of my people.

The reason why I started this fundraising is because I want to participate in the following protest (13 May) in Geneva. The whole Uyghur community is going to demand the release of the Office of the High Commissioner of Human Rights on human rights violations by the Chinese Communist Party on Uyghurs and to urge Michelle Bachelet to meet with the Uyghur community.
