To start my very own flower preservation business

Hi my name is Kiah! I’m 33 years old, a florist for an amazing styling company and a team leader in logistics. I’m a sole parent to an incredibly amazing girl who gives me the drive to succeed and build a better life for us both.

Recently I’ve been going through the trial and error process of drying and preserving flowers in the hopes to start my own small business preserving and framing wedding bouquets or any special occasion flowers for that matter. Sentimental value is such an important part of life I believe and being trusted with someone’s memories of their special day is such a huge honour.

I’ve been able to do a few things here and there as a trial but to actually get it going on my own is proving to be impossible 6 months in. Obviously all these things need to start somewhere and funding to get it off the ground is essential. There’s a tonne of tools that are needed, flower preservatives, custom frames to be made, flowers to be bought, packaging- the list goes on.

This is such a huge passion of mine and it would be honestly a dream come true to get the ball rolling properly and start this business the right way! It’ll be life changing for my daughter and I and I’m so excited to get started.
