to raise funds for Steven Seniors funeral expenses

We are setting up this GoFundMe page to help us with the cost of the funeral for Steven Senior.
In August last year we lost my Mum, Jill Wilkinson, and this devastated our lives. Steve was Jill’s life partner/husband of 30+ years and together they enjoyed life. They both adored our children, going to watch them play football, picking them up from school to go for Ice cream on the beach and having sleepovers. They were incredible grandparents and telling our two youngest that he has now gone to Nanny in the sky is heart-breaking for us.
To have to say goodbye to my mum and then 8 months later Steve is so overwhelmingly heart-breaking for our families and a huge financial burden for all the family.
Since Spain went into lockdown on March 13th, we have all been put on the ERTE (Spanish Furlough scheme) and as yet we have not been paid anything from the government– we have survived this time with the money we had, which is now all but gone and we are nowhere near re-starting jobs but lives continue with Rents, Bills and food.
A funeral in Spain costs 3,500€, and we cant even have a service, and because of the current situation, they cannot even dress or shave him, and so we are asking friends, family, acquaintances, kind-hearted people to help us in this time.
