To Raise Funds for Aunt's Kidney Transplant

In July of this year 2020, the sunshine and pillar of our family came down with Stage 5 renal (kidney) failure.

At first, she was misdiagnosed. After spending a small fortune on treatments and seeing her slowly wilt before our eyes, we decided to get a second opinion. We were beyond shattered to see she had been diagnosed with end-stage renal failure. We immediately started her on dialysis while trying to raise the sum required for kidney transplant surgery. We have a donor. But the expenses have steadily piled up.

To give her quality treatment, we transferred her to St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos where she has been receiving treatment. The dialysis is done twice a week at present and is not only taking a toll on her physical and mental health but is also financially draining for us as we presently spend about GBP £753 every week on the dialysis, not including her medication and care. It is critical that we raise funds for the surgery as soon as possible. It breaks our hearts to see our aunt our strong support system in this state and we are pleading that you pitch in to help. We do not want to lose our aunt. Not at this time. Not in this state. She has so much more in her and we have so much we want to give her.

We are therefore pleading with friends and well-wishers who can help to assist in raising N16,000,000 (approximately GBP £31,000).

Please pitch in in whatever way you can through sharing and/or donating and we will deeply appreciate it. You have our eternal gratitude and our prayers that your pockets be replenished and people will show up for you when you need them.
