To make my mams last moments count

Donation protected
Hiya just want to say thanks for taking your time to click/look at my mams page.

My Mam is 56years young and has two rare diseases and which are both incurable. She is on constant oxygen and wheelchair bound.

1st disease is scleroderma which is an autoimmune disease that is attacking all her vital organs and affects her skin.

2nd disease is pulmonary arterial hypertension which is a secondary disease to her scleroderma. This is when the right side of her heart is under intense pressure and is struggling to supply enough blood to the lungs to then oxygenate the body.

with the scleroderma my mam has had to be put on medication to suppress her immune system to try and slow the progression of the disease down. This has been a very scary time with Covid as she wouldn’t of stood a chance.

The pulmonary hypertension has only recently been diagnosed and when this is diagnosed it’s normally very advanced. My mam is currently in the last stage of the grades for this which technically she is like a ticking time bomb.
she is on currently on constant oxygen and a nebuliser plus medication but unfortunately this isn’t having any effect on her.
She is about to try the last treatment available to her. If this works this will help to make the time she has left more comfortable for her.

She is Currently in and out of hospital as she needs to have constant observation and close management as with treatment for this your kind of treated like a guinea pig due to being rare and everyone toleration differs so there is no set way of doing thing.

my Mam has been told she only has months left and it’s heartbreaking to see her deteriorate each and every day. So I want to try and make her last memories memorable.

so I’m looking for help to raise money to take her back to Skegness as this is a place close to her heart.
my Mam has been going since she was a little girl to now myself taking my mam and my son.

if you could donate It be highly appreciated but if not thank you for taking your time to read and hopefully try and raise awareness for these diseases.
