This is Simba, simba was un neutered and had been a long term stray for many years. Simba has had many feeders over the years but it wasn't until recently that Tendring Feral Rescue got contacted by a member of the public who had noticed he had got worse. I went down to trap him 3 times but had no luck as he had a wide area and many feeders he got on his travels. Yesterday I went down again and sat in my car for 6 hours and still a no show. The lovely lady who contacted us was home so I showed her how to set the trap and I left. Well last night he finally went into the trap !! Our rescue friends went and picked him, he was petrified and couldn't be handled. After a while nothing had changed none of them could do anything with him. This morning we collected him and took him to the vets. He wasn't in the best of health, he was neutered and while he was under they done a health check. He needed teeth out, he needed to be dematted & he had a very nasty ulcer behind his right eye. He was treated there and then and we was told there is a possibility that in a couple of weeks he might need his eye removed if the drops he's been prescribed don't work. So that means another general anesthetic and a huge operation. PLEASE PLEASE if you can donate to our just giving page and help us get the funds raised for this poor boy. I will get the vets bill when they have generated it.
THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH FOR HELPING POOR SIMBA. THIS BOY SO DESERVES A CHANCE AT PROPER LIFE ☺️
