This is my beautiful grandmother Connie. On Friday May 29, 2026 she told my grandpa she was having a hard time breathing and wanted to go to the hospital. By the time they got there, my grandma had very low oxygen levels and when they were trying to get her out the car she collapsed not breathing. It took an estimated 10 minutes and two shocks to get her back to us. Unfortunately, however, 10 minutes without oxygen to the brain can do irreversible damage. On the morning of Friday May 29, on their wedding anniversary, was the last time my grandpa was gonna hear my grandmothers voice. Last night, Sunday May 31, 2026 my grandmother took her last breath. She gained her angel wings at 11:21 pm. She was surrounded by so much love when she passed, it was quick and as painless as we could make it for her. Our hearts are truly shattered as 71 years young just seems too early to go. My amazing mother was blessed with her best friend for 46 years and I was blessed with her for 23.. wishing I could have 23 more. This is a difficult time financially for everyone so I understand if you can’t donate, but even a share can help boost.
