To help pay for Harry's Cancer treatment

Hi, my name is Joseph, and I am making this go-fund-me as a Mitzvah project for my Bar Mitzvah. Recently, my mom's very close friend needed to have knee surgery. This wasn't the only bad news she received at that time, though. While she was out of work recovering, her husband wasn't feeling well. After being put through several tests, he was diagnosed with stage 4 bile duct Cancer, which is incurable.

She has been struggling to juggle work and care for her husband, having to take him to many doctor's appointments and chemo sessions. The unexpected factor was the cost of paying for all of the out-of-pocket costs of co-pays and deductibles. They only recently discovered the extreme costs of this, and it is becoming a lot to handle. To help them get through this and spend what time they have left together, we hope to exceed our goal of raising $25,000 to help pay for all of the unforeseen costs.

The couple has been married for 42 years and has been planning to retire soon. They married after knowing each other for nine months at the ages of 19 and 21, just knowing they had found their soul mates. They had a daughter and son, and now they have three grandchildren as well. They always said how lucky they were to find true love so early. They will never be able to retire together, and their dreams of spending the rest of their lives together are gone. These two had many hopes and dreams for a long, happy retirement together, but now they just hope to spend a little extra time with each other.
