To help cover solicitors fees for Ali's mum

On the 17th of December 2019 our dear friend Ali was suddenly killed in a road traffic accident, leaving behind a devestated family and friends. This year has been very difficult especially for his mother and sister and extended family, his mother still has not had any closure on the circumstances surrounding his death. There is still questions unanswered and under police investigation. meaning to date she has still not received his death certificate, this on going battle has cause emotional termoil and financial hardship. With fees often, she has had to become his power of attorney (grant of probate). The pain has been intensived when she was forced to take this all on board as two letters arrived months after our friends death from the other parties insurance. One letter stated that because they had not heard from our friend they were to assume he accepted liability for the accident and a second letter stating they were to pay the other party a lump sum. so action had to be taken.

The insurance company didnt have full details of the accident meaning his mother had to have the heartbreaking discussion to inform them of her sons death as the other party didn't mention to the insurance. She has been forced into a legal battle to resolve this issue with costs mounting, solicitors fees and no legal aid has made this harder. As close friends it is very hard to stand by and not help, which is why we have started this go fund me, any help would be greatly appreciated, whilst this is going to be an uphill battle we would be hoping to relieve her of some of the financial stress that no mother should have whilst having to grieve the loss of her son nearly a year later,
