To HELL with Brain Cancer

Well... This a tough time in the Wilson house.  As many of you know Kalee underwent surgery to have a Tumor removed from her brain last month.  We were all in good spirits that once her biopsy came back we would be well on our way to recovery.  Unfortunately; this was not the case.  Kalee has been Diagnosed with Grade 3 Anaplastic Astrocytoma, which will need radiation treatment and chemotherapy.

I have been in contact with many of the leading Cancer centers in the U.S. and as of now we will be travelling to the Mayo Clinic in Arizona for a consultation as well as another consultation here in Seattle on January 2, 2018.  We are exploring all options that will give Kalee the best Treatments and recovery.

All I want is the best care I can get for Kalee and unfortunately due to new regulations with our Insurance through Blue Cross Blue Shield any out of state treatment is not covered at all and must be done out of pocket.  In addition to this our deuctible and max out of pocket expense for our insurance which is covered in Washington State has just kicked in and with it being the end of the year the cycle will start again on January 1 2018. 

Any donations that are recieved will go directly to Kalee's Cancer Treatments and the Therapy that will be needed afterwards.  As of now she is undergoing Speech, Occupational and Physical thearpy which was needed after the Tumor was removed from her head.  It has been a long process and will be even longer once as treatments are complete.
