Drinking Gourd Farms is a Black food sovereignty organization led by Muslim refugee moms that is growing a self-reliant and sustainable food system among Black gardeners, farmers, and homesteaders in Phoenix. We are striving to build our community between educating them, feeding them, and teaching them to grow and sustain their own healthy organic food.

Since meeting and discussing how we wanted to better our community and ourselves, we have been able to feed hundreds of people in our community during the pandemic. We have 9 sites that we are cultivating and currently using to help build food boxes we are still providing to families in need. With your help we will continue to build on our sites and expand to educating more people and building a more self sustaining food source for our community.
