To chew or not to chew it's up to you!

My wife of Twenty Five years just finished Chemo/Radiation Treatment
on April 17, 20. She is now referred to as a Cancer Survivor! She has
No Evidence of Disease!! ( NED) but the side effects of Chemo and
Radiation are still going on. It can take 1 year or more to stop if at all.

The other day, on Oct 1st she was informed that her test for
Rheumatoid Arthritis is positive. It is way up there in value at 25.
When .5 is the high of normal. No wonder she's in such pain. Add that
to Fibromyalgia/ CFIDS, Bronchiectasis, COPD, Liver Disease, Surviving
a Heart Attack in 2000, Meningitis with a 6 day coma in 2005, Knee
Replace 2015, Neck Surgery 2017 and other health issues she has, she
is staying positive. She loves cooking and eating but the situation
below has kept her from it. It has taken her and a few doctors and
Dentists 4 years to figure out why she is allergic to her partials?
That is a long time without a partial or a sore mouth if she wore it
so she stopped. She gladly wears a mask.

She has 6 teeth on top and one broke about 4 weeks ago. The Dental
Plan allowance that was meant to pay for part of a new Partial was
used up for that tooth because it holds the partial in. She would have
to wait until January to start the process of making a new Partial.
That is likely 4 mo. of Waiting. The amount allowed for Dental renews
each year. Hers is used up for 2020. She is allergic to the Acrylic in
the one that is only 2 years old which the manufacturer didn't reveal
the teeth in the nylon partial were acrylic like the other one she was
allergic too, it was Acrylic and Valadium. She will be having
Porcelain Teeth in the next one! She has little to chew with and she
broke that one tooth she could chew with. That money went toward the
filling and crown needed so it can hold the new partial in.

She is without a partial and eating is difficult. She keeps biting
her tongue and cheek! Blood blisters hurt. She has been working on
finding a material that she is not allergic to, we hope the Porcelain
is it. Writing this made me think, she has tried Thermoplastic chips
in her mouth to see if she reacts but she should also try to get the
Porcelain too. We hope it won't make her tongue red and very sore if
she tries to wear it.

She hasn't given up even though she is going through the other health
issues, she is a Trouper. Another issue she faces is the newly
repaired tooth could break again with all of the wear on it over the
next 4 mo. It is the only one that touches the back teeth and it is
close to the front ones. When she was a child her family didn't have
the funds to take her to the dentist so her sister took her but no
fillings just removing the teeth.

2020 has not been good for us or anyone I believe. To top it off, my wife's special fur baby that slept with her, died Sunday evening, unexpectedly in her arms. She was only eight years old and with us all but 8 weeks of  her life.. She had Tracheal  Collapse a known issue with small dogs.

 I had  kidney surgery yesterday which will lay me up for at least 6 weeks. She sat her feelings aside and was there for me.

As I write this my wife's right front tooth just broke off, OMG what's next. 
No More please!
 
To top things off she was in a bad car accident, adding to her pain and a strain on our finances.

She has helped so many I am trying to help her.
