To celebrate the life of Amanda and Jacqueline

On 5th September Kellie Akiens world was torn apart after a series of tragic events meant she shockingly lost her mum and Auntie within a couple of days of each other.
After receiving terrible news that her Auntie Jacqueline, who lives in Germany, had suffered a brain haemorrhage and was in intensive care, Kellie rang her mum to tell her the sad news only for her mum to have a brain haemorrhage herself shortly after receiving the news. All efforts were made to save her but tragically on 7th September Amanda was declared brain dead. Meanwhile Jacqueline lost her fight on Friday 6th September.
Kellie then had to go through the heartbreak of saying goodbye whilst bravely ensuring her mums wish of organ donation went ahead and then agonisingly had to go home to tell her gorgeous little boy Jack that his Nannie and favourite Auntie were gone forever.
I can’t imagine how Kellie has got through the pain of this past week, I have never known a closer relationship between mother and daughter and know that my best friend will never be the same ever again which is why I’ve set up this go fund me to try and help. I don’t want the added worry of funeral costs and expenses to impact further on what is already a horrendous time.
Kellie as always, has been amazingly strong and wants her mums life celebrating in the way in which she lived hers-positively, with love, laughter and glitter!!! By raising some money for Kellie and her family I hope we can all help give them the amazing send off they deserve. Any donation, however small, would be hugely appreciated and would really help Kellie and her family through this painful and difficult time. If you can’t donate(which do not feel as though you have to) it would be amazing if you could still share.
