Masha Benitez

As many of you know, Masha  Benitez  has been struggling with major health issues. In February 2019 she was diagnosed with severe Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension which rapidly developed into Congestive Heart Failure. After an open lung biopsy she was diagnosed with PVOD, a rare form of pulmonary hypertension caused by progressive blockage of the small veins in the lungs. The only treatment available for Masha is a double lung transplant.
Masha, a dynamo in her own right, is an avid supporter of the Make-a-Wish Foundation which helps create life changing wishes for critically ill children. Despite her multiple health challenges, Masha was solely responsible for raising over $70,000 for the make-a-Wish Foundation over the past few years.
